Initiatives for the natural environment
~Earth-friendly manufacturing~
As people have continued to prioritize economic values, many things have been lost.
At Oya Manufacturing, as a manufacturing company that creates things, we are re-examining and reflecting on the values and technologies that are being lost, and addressing the current challenges.
I am supported by many friends and colleagues.
People with the skills to create things, people who protect the mountain environment, people who produce food, people who connect people, and people who protect our livelihoods.
A diverse group of people from various fields are collaborating to tackle social issues.

In ancient times, humankind lived by hunting animals and gathering nuts and berries.
Eventually, they mastered the art of starting fires using frictional heat, which greatly advanced civilization.
Oya Seisakusho pursues technological value by utilizing frictional heat,
We value fundamental human activities and aim for a sustainable society.
Friction welding is a 'low-carbon technology'.
Our carbon emissions from material procurement to manufacturing are reduced by 67% compared to machining. Our company has been certified as a Low CO2 Kawasaki Brand '20 by the city of Kawasaki.

Manufacturing powered by renewable energy
Our company purchases the electricity used in our operations from renewable energy power generation companies.
We have obtained a tracking-enabled non-fossil certificate.

Exploring the Circular Economy (CE)
By leveraging the characteristics of friction welding and recycling a wide variety of products from numerous used parts, we will create a new business model toward a circular economy.

Yamakita Forest Restoration Project
This project utilizes thinned timber effectively and, in collaboration with manufacturing companies, aims to restore the natural cycle and forest biodiversity to a healthy state.

Yamakita Desk Project
We use planks made from thinned timber as tabletops for desks in elementary and junior high schools.
Students use their "own" tabletop while they are enrolled.
Upon graduation, the removed tabletop will be presented to you as a memento!
